I've been in rooms where everyone was accomplished and half the people were quietly wondering "Is this it?"

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in tech, startups, and the arts. That history keeps showing up in the work. Most of my clients are people who've solved hard problems, built careers, achieved what they set out to achieve — and then find themselves hitting a wall that doesn't respond to the usual approaches.

I work best with people who want to understand what's actually driving their patterns, not just manage them. That means looking at the experiences and relationships that shaped how you respond today, and building something genuinely different from there.

I trained at Golden Gate University (MA in Counseling Psychology, Highest Honors) and did clinical training at the Pacific Center for Human Growth and the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy. I draw from attachment theory, narrative therapy, and parts work — less as a fixed method, more as lenses for understanding what's actually going on.

I see clients in Albany and Berkeley, and work with people across California via telehealth. If I am unable to see you, I am more than happy to refer you to a trusted colleague.
